Preparations are already in full swing as we get ready to welcome crews to some of the best roads the North West has to offer.

Marshal and radio crew registration opens in mid-December, so mark your calendars, we can’t do it without you.

Over the next 30 weeks, we will be building the excitement and sharing everything you need to know ahead of the event.

How will you be joining us – as a competitor, marshal, radio operator or spectator?

The popular North West event will run on 20th March 2027 and organisation is well underway. The team have produced a route that will maintain the event’s reputation for running challenging stages whilst building on experience gained in the three previous closed road events.

The rally will return to the market town of Garstang and to the exciting and demanding lanes of Lancashire. Myerscough College will again provide their excellent facilities for Rally Headquarters and central service area, and Garstang Town Council, who are in full support of the event, will host the popular ceremonial town centre start on Friday 19th.

For the eighteenth year, we are delighted to welcome back Legend Fires as the event title sponsor, we are extremely grateful to them for their steadfast support and to John Stone individually who is always on hand with encouragement for the team. We must also thank ND Civils and Kelmore for their continued support as Event Partner Sponsors. We are extremely fortunate to have secured other additional sponsorship, and these will be announced in the coming weeks.

We would also like to thank all residents, councils, landowners, local businesses and sponsors for their continued support.

So, get the date in your diary, we can’t wait to welcome you to Lancashire next March.

The Organisers are delighted to announce that long-time sponsor, Legend Fires, will return as the North West Stages headline sponsor, supported by ND Civils and Kelmore as associate sponsors.

Once again, the event will be based out of Myerscough College and will utilise the exciting and challenging Lancashire lanes, along with the now traditional ceremonial start in Garstang.

Mark Hothersall, Event Director, confirmed “We have a skilled and experienced team headed by Clerk of the Course, Clive Molyneux, who has worked with the North West Team for the past few years and was previously Clerk of the Course of the Tour of Mull Rally for 10 years”.

Plans for the event are well advanced, with the organising clubs, Councils, Highways Department and Myerscough College and University Centre offering full support to the event, subject to the usual ongoing approvals.

We will of course post updates over the next few months.

See you in Garstang!
